Summary of Key HR Job Trends Insights:
Compensation
We segment compensation market data into three groups – minimum, middle and maximum and display the average of each group over the time period. Then we calculate the difference between the maximum and minimum groups for the range metric so you can see how wide or narrow of a range is being advertised. A lower range % gives job seekers a more true picture of the comp offering for the advertised position.
In the graphs below we see that for HR jobs during the time period Jan-Nov 2025, the average min comp is $65.8K, mid comp is $74.2K and max comp is $82.8K. The range between max and min comp is 22.9%, and 73.2% of advertised jobs included comp.
Comp started out flat from January through May, and then has been increasing steadily except for a little dip in July. The average comp increased by $5,400, $6,700 and $8,000 across mid, mid and max comp respectively since January. November saw the highest average comp for the year so far.
