Having a known source of data provides full assurance of the accuracy of the insights.

TalentView is based on Indeed®, Glassdoor®, LinkedIn® and government databases with full traceability to the underlying detail. We capture the most current market data ensures a real-time understanding of the landscape.

Job Market Orientation

Job titles are constantly changing and standard occupations (e.g. SOC) cannot possibly keep up with the nuances of a changing job market.

TalentView uses a deep database of 200,000 unique job titles that capture the changing nature of the job market. Titles are then coupled to occupations.

Postings as a raw value are incomplete and even misleading. Up to 30% of postings are repostings. Characterizing accurate job movement and fill status is essential.

TalentView tracks and classifies postings as repostings, estimated filled, and open. Filled rates and open jobs aging are computed and time trended.

Ad rates are only posted on 30% of all job postings providing an inaccurate and incomplete picture. Surveys from employees over time provide a much better picture of compensation.

TalentView pulls compensation data from employee surveys as well as advertised posted rates. Data is updated weekly and trends can be analyzed over time.

Base salaries are only one component of overall compensation. Additional pay and benefits are increasingly critical in competing for top talent.

TalentView provides variable compensation (e.g. bonus, overtime, profit sharing) as well as benefits by job title and employer. TalentView also provides compensation by years of experience.

Current compensation levels may not be commensurate with requirements or position expectations.

TalentView measures salary satisfaction levels by title over time and benchmarks satisfaction against the broader job market.

Companies fall into many categories based on size, diversity, operating type (e.g. private, government) and industry. Company segmentation informs talent competition and career choices.

TalentView classifies employers by multiple criteria including size (employees, revenues), diversity (minority, woman, veteran ownership), operating type, and industry (NAICS, InsideView, SIC).

Employee satisfaction and employee view of work-life balance are essential ingredients in recruiting top talent and making career choices.

TalentView tracks millions of Indeed® survey ratings and updates results quarterly. The Indeed® Happiness Survey provides work-life ratings over a wide spectrum across thousands of companies.

Employer reviews are a fertile ground for understanding the sentiment and opinions of current and former employees. This helps provide a framework for improving retention and positioning for talent acquisition.

TalentView does deep text analytics of over one million reviews a month to uncover sentiment and extract opinions.

Supply and demand is constantly changing especially in a post-pandemic world. Historical government projections are no longer accurate.

TalentView uses a rolling set of resumés and job postings (netted for repostings), and calculates a supply/demand ratio to benchmark at any level.

Skills provide the blueprint to match careers and aptitudes with job positions. However, skills can be very subjective and vague. Assessments are standardized tests providing an objective standard.

TalentView curates over 5 million Indeed® assessment results by proficiency. Typical skills, resumé skills, education level, and college are also provided.

Understanding the makeup of students and where students are receiving credentials informs talent acquisition and career development.

TalentView provides millions of current resumés at the postsecondary level with the ability to explore related employment, assessments, regions, and employers at no additional cost.
