Public Insight, whose software platform analyzes data about people, places, and providers released a major platform update that includes a significant overhaul of its condition based filtering engine (Filter Builder). The new capabilities allow users to apply metric-based conditions to dynamically filter the universe of public entities.

Public Insight is pleased to announce the release of Scout, its advanced visualization application. Public Insight Scout gives subscribers the ability to dynamically explore public data using next generation touch-screen technologies and visualizations. Scout is initially available on Apple iPad® with browser support to be available shortly thereafter.

Public Insight, the web platform that transforms complex public data into insight so that users can quickly and easily navigate the data, generate peer comparisons, and add data relevance and historical context to their analysis has released its August 2014 update.

In the most recent data update to the Public Insight platform, Public Insight’s K-12 school district metrics have been updated to include the national “Common Core of Data” (CCD) data set. This update includes multiple new topics and series for enrollment and staffing from the CCD.
