Talent Market Competitive Intelligence Helps Inform Recruitment Strategies and Fuel Business Development

September 11, 2025 – Public Insight announces the release of new skills, benefits and workforce analysis capabilities in its TalentView market intelligence solution. These insights can be filtered by job title, company, state, metro area or zip code over time. Companies can be benchmarked against their competitors. Talent market insights help inform recruitment decisions, understand the competitive landscape, identify trends and uncover new business opportunities.

TalentView is a source for 250+ current talent market metrics. Key metrics include: job postings, compensation, fill days, supply/demand, and employer reviews/sentiment.

In the scatter plot chart example below, we can see the most common skills listed in job postings. Machine learning, Python, AI, PyTorch and TensorFlow are in the top five skills.

Supply/Demand Workforce Insights Example

Job Title: AI/Machine Learning Engineer

Below is an example of the Available AI/Machine Learning Engineer Workforce by Location Quotient. (Circle Size = Workforce Count and Circle Color = Comparison to National Average. Green is a higher concentration of AI/Machine Learning engineers. Yellow is equal concentration. Red is a lower concentration than the national average). The map shows us that there is high concentration of AI/Machine Learning Engineers in parts of California and Illinois. You can drill down to get to the specific city/zip code.
