Regional Connectivity and Calculation Summaries Highlight the Public Insight May 2016 Update

With this new update, a host of new features will be released including a crosswalk between higher education degrees awarded and market place jobs, as well as a new custom metric generator called “Metric Builder”.

This new data update will include information for higher education entities on fall enrollment related to entering class sizes, retention rates (full-time and part-time students), and student-to-faculty ratios.

Public Insight has recently updated its data analysis platform to include the addition of the new College Scorecard data provided by the U.S. Department of Education. With the addition of this data, users will be able to interconnect data from the College Scorecard database with information from sources such as the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), U.S. Federal Student Aid, and many others.
